RANLP (Recent Advances in Natural Language Processing) has established itself over the years as one of the most influential and competitive NLP conferences. The event is held biennially and grew out of the International summer schools "Contemporary topics in Computational Linguistics", which were organised for many years as training events. Selected papers from most RANLP conferences have been regularly published in a volume as part of John Benjamins’ series “Current Trends of Linguistic Research”.

WAT is a new open evaluation campaign focusing on Asian languages. We
would like to invite a broad range of participants and conduct various
forms of machine translation experiments and evaluation. Collecting
and sharing our knowledge will allow us to understand the essence of
machine translation and the problems to be solved. We are working
toward the practical use of machine translation among all Asian
countries.

The increasing use of machine translation in the workflow of professional translators creates demand for machine translation technology that provides more interactive collaboration, learns from its errors and adapts to the translators' style and adapts the underlying machine translation system online to the specific needs of the translator for the given task.

We invite paper submissions to the ACL 2013 Workshop on Discourse in Machine Translation, to be held on August 9, 2013 in Sofia.
