The First Workshop on Sovereign AI for Collaborative and Pluralistic AI Ecosystems
at ACM HCOMP × Collective Intelligence 2026

We are bringing together people who believe communities should have a real say in what AI knows, whose stories it tells, and whose values it reflects. This is the first workshop dedicated to building more sovereign, collaborative, and pluralistic AI ecosystems, and you can help shape what this emerging field becomes!
We welcome all kinds of contributions!
-- Have an early-stage idea? Submit a 2–4 page short paper or extended abstract.
-- Have a developed project? Full papers of up to 6,000 words are also very welcome.
-- Prototypes, provocations, work in progress, and real-world case studies are all encouraged!
Accepted contributors can present orally or as a poster, get feedback, and meet others working on Sovereign AI and pluralistic alignment.
