The 6th Workshop on Representation Learning for NLP (RepL4NLP-2021), co-located with ACL 2021 in Bangkok, Thailand, invites papers of a theoretical or experimental nature describing recent advances in vector space models of meaning, compositionality, and the application of deep neural networks and spectral methods to NLP.

We encourage submissions in the following topics, including but not limited to:

Countering Misinformation with AI and Human Language Technology

An MIT study of tweets found that “falsehood diffuses significantly farther, faster, deeper, and more broadly than the truth, in all categories of information, and in many cases by an order of magnitude.” The speed of AI is the only way to keep up with detecting, fact-checking and tagging cascades of misinformation.

The SIGIR Forum consists of two issues (June, December). It serves as a medium for disseminating general information and opinions on matters of interest to the IR community, conference and workshop reports, papers and book reviews, and Ph.D. dissertation abstracts.

The 16th conference of the European Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics (EACL) will be held from 19 to 23 April, 2021. While we were planning to hold the conference in Kyiv, due to the current COVID situation the conference will be held entirely online.

The European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR) is the prime European forum for the presentation of original research in the field of Information Retrieval. ECIR will be held fully online, organised from Lucca, Italy.

ECIR 2021 is seeking high-quality and original submissions on theory, experimentation, and practice regarding the retrieval, representation, management, and usage of textual, visual and multi-modal information.
