The Department of English at the Rochester Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Computational Linguistics/Linguistics, beginning in August 2019. Candidates are expected to have an earned doctorate in Linguistics, Computer Science, or a related field by the time of appointment. The committee will consider candidates who will finish their doctorate degree in the first year.

Review of applications will begin on November 27, 2018 and will continue until a suitable candidate is found.

The Department of English invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position, beginning in January 2018, with specialization in computational linguistics and/or innovative technical or scientific methods in language science at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), with a focus on one or more areas of application. Possible areas include:

First Announcement and Call for Participation for the 2018 North American ACL.

It is our pleasure to announce the Fall 2016 open call for submissions
for the journal Dialogue and Discourse. Submissions are invited on all
topics in the formal, computational, or psycholinguistic study of dialogue
and discourse. Submissions received by November 15 will be considered for
this issue, which is scheduled to appear in April 2017. Submissions received
after this date will be considered for the next regular issue.
