DiscoMT 2017 Shared Task on Cross-lingual Pronoun Prediction

We are pleased to announce an exciting cross-lingual pronoun prediction task for people interested in (discourse-aware) machine translation, anaphora resolution and machine learning in general.

Call for Papers

Coreference resolution, the task of determining the mentions in a text or dialogue that refer to the same entity in the real world, has been at the core of natural language understanding since the 1960s. Owing in large part to the public availability of several coreference-annotated corpora since the 1990s, such as MUC, ACE, and OntoNotes, significant progress has been made in the development of corpus-based approaches to coreference resolution.

It is our pleasure to announce the Fall 2016 open call for submissions
for the journal Dialogue and Discourse. Submissions are invited on all
topics in the formal, computational, or psycholinguistic study of dialogue
and discourse. Submissions received by November 15 will be considered for
this issue, which is scheduled to appear in April 2017. Submissions received
after this date will be considered for the next regular issue.
