NLP4DH (Natural Language Processing for the Digital Humanities) is an interdisciplinary conference series that leverages advancing techniques in natural language processing to enhance research in the digital humanities, and vice versa. NLP4DH has been organized annually since its inception in 2021.
We are pleased to announce the 6th International Conference on Natural Language Processing for the Digital Humanities (NLP4DH 2026) will be co-located with ACL 2026. The conference will take place in San Diego, California, USA on July 6 (tent.), 2026.

The tutorial “Uncertainty Quantification for Large Language Models” will return for its second edition at AAAI 2026 in Singapore. Following its debut at ACL 2025 in Vienna - where it attracted more than 300 participants - the tutorial continues to respond to the growing need for developing reliable, robust, and trustworthy large language models.

We are delighted to announce SemEval-2026 Task 9: Detecting Multilingual, Multicultural, and Multievent Online Polarization.
Polarization refers to the sharp division of opinions into opposing groups, often accompanied by hostility and exclusion. This shared task aims to advance our understanding of how polarization manifests in text across languages, cultures, and events. Participants will develop systems to detect and interpret polarized content in contexts such as elections, conflicts, protests, and debates.
