Academic workshops specific to tackling event information in general or for analyzing text in specific domains such as health, law, finance, and biomedical sciences have significantly accelerated progress in these topics and fields, respectively. However, there has not been a comparable effort for handling Socio-political Events (SPEs). We fill this gap. We invite work on all aspects of automated coding and analysis of SPEs and events in general from mono- or multi-lingual text sources. This includes (but is not limited to) the following topics

NAACL 2022 invites the submission of long and short papers featuring substantial, original, and unpublished research in all aspects of Computational Linguistics and Natural Language Processing. NAACL 2022 has a goal of a diverse technical program—in addition to traditional research results, papers may contribute negative findings, survey an area, announce the creation of a new resource, argue a position, report novel linguistic insights derived using existing techniques, and reproduce, or fail to reproduce, previous results.

Today, the unprecedented quantity of easily accessible data on social, political, and economic processes offers ground-breaking potential in guiding data-driven analysis in social and human sciences and in driving informed policy-making processes. The need for precise and high-quality information about a wide variety of events ranging from political violence, environmental catastrophes, and conflict, to international economic and health crises has rapidly escalated (Porta and Diani, 2015; Coleman et al. 2014).

ICNLSP 2021, the fourth edition of the International Conference on Natural Language and Speech Processing, will be organized by the university of Trento. ICNLSP aims to attract contributions related to natural language and speech processing in basic theories and applications as well. Regular and posters sessions will be organized, in addition to keynotes presented by senior international researchers.
The second edition of NSURL workshop will be colocated with ICNLSP 2021.

We invite proposals for tasks to be run as part of SemEval-2022. SemEval (the International Workshop on Semantic Evaluation) is an ongoing series of evaluations of computational semantics systems, organized under the umbrella of SIGLEX, the Special Interest Group on the Lexicon of the Association for Computational Linguistics.

With the recent advances in the field of Computational Linguistics (CL) brought on by rapid developments in neural models, the goal of this conference is to focus on the application of AI/ML in NLP and CL. The ACLing 2021 aims to bring together leading academicians, scientists, researchers and practitioners from all over the world to exchange new ideas and the latest results in Computational Linguistics and NLP; a field that has become increasingly important. The scope of the conference encompasses the theory and practice of all aspects of AI/ML in Computational Linguistics.
