MedExACT is a shared task at ACL 2026 (BioNLP workshop) focused on detecting and classifying medical decisions in ICU discharge summaries. Using the MedDec dataset, systems must identify decision spans and assign categories from the DICTUM taxonomy. Submissions are evaluated for both accuracy and robustness across patient subgroups, with ACL 2026 registration awards for top teams.

The CCF International Conference on Natural Language Processing and Chinese Computing (NLPCC) is the annual meeting of CCF-NLP (Technical Committee of Natural Language Processing, China Computer Federation). NLPCC is a leading international conference specialized in the fields of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Chinese Computing (CC). NLPCC is in the list of CS conferences recommended by CCF.

With the recent advances in the field of Computational Linguistics (CL) brought on by rapid developments in neural models, the goal of this conference is to focus on the application of AI/ML in NLP and CL. We are excited to invite you to submit your research and participate in the upcoming Machine Learning for Cognitive and Mental Health (CMH) Workshop at AAAI 2024.

Topics of Interest

This workshop encourages and promotes research efforts towards more inclusive multimodal technologies for CMH applications and tools to assess those methods. We invite papers which focus on the topics of interest (but is not limited to):

The specialized Natural Language Processing master's program at UC Santa Cruz equips students with the skills and in-depth knowledge needed for a successful career in the rapidly growing NLP field. Over the past year, students have worked in teams mentored by industry experts to develop Capstone projects that address real-world NLP challenges.
