The ACL exec will send an obituary announcement to the membership by email in the case of passing away of:
- ACL lifetime achievement award (LTA) winners,
- ACL distinguished service award (DSA) winners,
- ACL fellows,
- ACL presidents and former presidents,
- chairs and former chairs of the ACL chapters.
For cases where the above conditions are not satisfied, ACL will post the obituary on the ACL portal upon demand.
