2021Q3 Reports: EMNLP 2021

EMNLP 2021 -- The 2021 Conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing -- is planned to be held in hybrid format from November 7 till November 11, 2021. We will welcome participants at the Barceló Bávaro Convention Centre in Punta Cana, the Dominical Republic. We expect that a substantial number of attendees will virtually participate.

The program chairs have received 3717 submissions, among which 120 were desk-rejected. The remaining 3600 submissions are under review. Among them, 2540 are long and 1060 are short papers. Additionally, there are 131 demo papers under review. EMNLP 2021 also considers paper submissions through the ACL Rolling Review system and accepts TACL and CL papers for presentation.

EMNLP 2021 hosts 2 satellite conferences, 21 workshops, and 6 tutorials.
