I am currently an Informatics Specialist ay Mayo Clinic and a PhD candidate at the Indiana University in health Informatics. My thesis work was on clinical NLP and we developed a novel negation algorithm called DEEPEN. The paper explaining our methodology is under review. At Mayo i continue working on NLP and would like to expand my work into predictive analytics using big data.
