Dear colleagues.

Remember that regular registration must be done by April 22, and that the conference hotels keep their special rates until April 19! This year's conference has lots included in the conference fee (see below).

19th Nordic Conference on Computational Linguistics (NODALIDA 2013)

Wednesday, May 22, to Friday, May 24, 2013
University of Oslo, Norway

http://hf.uio.no/nodalida/

The conference is now open for regular registration. A list of accepted papers and posters for the main conference has been published on the conference website.

This year's NODALIDA has three invited speakers:
- Ron Kaplan, Nuance Communications and Stanford University, USA
- Caroline Sporleder, University of Trier, Germany
- Anders Søgaard, University of Copenhagen, Denmark

We have managed to keep the registration fee comparatively low, and to offer good value for money. The conference fee covers two conference dinners, two lunches, coffee and refreshments in the breaks, plus electronic proceedings.

The conference dinners take place in spectacular surroundings. The first dinner (of the evening of 22 May) will be held in the beautiful new opera building in Oslo, practically on the fiord, and we can promise suitable entertainment. Its central location will mean that the conference participants will be able to combine arrival in Oslo in the late afternoon with this dinner. The second dinner (in the evening of 23 May) will take place in Oslo City Hall, where we will be the guests of the Mayor of Oslo. Here we will be offered a buffet dinner and beverages, and a guided tour of the building. The City Hall is also the place where the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony happens (though not when we are there!).
