TOUR DESCRIPTION FOR THE ACL-02 CONFERENCE
TO BE HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA

Terms and Conditions:
· PTW will require a payment in full to process each reservation.
· All tours depart and return to the Inn at Penn Hotel 3600 Samson Street.
· All tours require a 30-person minimum to book with the exception of Philadelphia by Day and Yo South Philly.
· The minimum advance reservations need to be guaranteed by June 25, 2002.
· PTW will take additional reservations until tour departure or tour sells out.
· Tours cancelled due to lack of reservations will have deposits fully refunded.
· Guests will have option to apply deposits from cancelled tours to other tours without penalty.
· Pre-purchased tickets can be picked up at the Philadelphia Trolley Works booth provided by the ACL-02 July 8-12, 2002 from 9:00 AM- 11:00 AM. at the Inn at Penn, 3600 Sansom St.
· The ACL-02 will distribute tickets for tours dated prior to July 8, 2002.
1. Philadelphia by Day
Guests will board our beautiful open air Victorian Style Trolleys for our 90-minute fully narrated city tour. There are 20 different stops along the tour and guests will enjoy on-off privileges all day. These tours are fully narrated and provide a complete tour of historic Philadelphia, the waterfront, and museum district. Transportation will be provided from the hotel to the Liberty Bell for the tour. The last shuttle to the hotel from the Liberty Bell will be no later than 4:00 PM.
Cost per Adult: $18.00
Cost per Child: $5.00 (ages 6-12)
No minimum guest requirement
* This discounted rate for ACL-02 is only valid for tickets pre-purchased or purchased at the booth in the hotel.
2. Peddlers Village and
Penn’s Purchase
If you like to shop this tour is for you. You will travel to one of Pennsylvania’s most popular shopping destinations, Peddlers Village and Penn’s Purchase. Peddler’s Village has 75 shops and restaurants set in an 18th century style village with landscaped gardens and brick walkways. If you like discounts, across the street is Penn’s Purchase an outlet mall that houses some of the best name brands in house wares, clothing and shoes.

3. Yo! South Philly Tour
Departing from your hotel you will travel to the eclectic neighborhood of South Philadelphia. The first stop will be Fort Mifflin where you will visit the Revolutionary War Fort with its authentic cannons. Lunch will on your own at Pat’s King of Steaks or Gino’s Steaks. The two Philly Cheese Steak stands are across from each other and booth claim to be #1. Maybe a taste test of your own will be in order. Guests will have a chance to visit the Mummers Museum a unique Philadelphia New Years Day tradition. Hope you saved room for dessert because the next stop is the Termini Brothers Bakery where guests will savor a sweet cannoli made from recipes dating back to 1890.

Guests will travel to Longwood Gardens, which
lives up to its international reputation for maintaining immaculate, colorful
gardens full of flowers and blossoming shrubs. There are over 350 acres of
breathtaking gardens and floral delights. Don’t let bad weather deter you.
There are 3 ½ acres of indoor displays containing exotic foliage, cacti, ferns
and bonsai. The displays are housed in heated conservatories. Lunch is on your
own at Longwood’s cafeteria.

5. Spirit of Philadelphia Dinner Cruise
Guests will board the Spirit of Philadelphia
for a fabulous 3–hour dinner cruise along the Delaware River. Each fun-filled
cruise includes bountiful buffets, top-40 dance hits, a live cabaret-style show
and fascinating views of the city and its historic waterfront.
Round trip transportation from the Sheraton University City is
provided. Guests will depart the Convention Center at 5:30 PM and arrive at the
ship at 6:30 PM. When guests arrive they will exchange their voucher at the
ticket booth for their boarding pass. Guests will be shuttled back to the
convention center at the end of the cruise.

6. Land
& Sea Package
Guests will be picked up at their hotel where they will take a 90-minute trolley tour through Philadelphia to include the historic district, waterfront and Avenue of the Arts. Following the trolley tour guests will board the Spirit of Philadelphia for a fabulous 2–hour lunch cruise along the Delaware River. Each fun-filled cruise includes bountiful buffets, top-40 dance hits, a live show and fascinating views of the city and its historic waterfront. Return transportation to the hotel will be provided.
