Policy on registering domain names for conferences

The new conference domain policy initiated in 2020 states that all conference websites should be linked from sub-domains of the parent organization’s website. For example, the website for the EMNLP 2020 conference lives at 2020.emnlp.org, the website for the ACL 2021 conference lives at 2021.aclweb.org, and the website for the upcoming 2021 NAACL conference lives at 2021.naacl.org. To get a subdomain setup for your conference website, the conference chairs should contact the ACL information officer. There is no longer any need to purchase new domains for any ACL-affiliated conference, as used to be in the past.
