Co-Chair

We are currently recruiting for a new co-chair, as Donia's term will end this year.

Members

We have completed the first phase of a recruitment drive, with the selection of new members, subject to their training in ACL Harassment procedures.

Training

The current ACL Administration Team have now received training on PCC procedures.

We have designed a new training programme to cover the process of investigating harassment claims, with a particular focus on online harassment (which now constitutes the majority of cases we receive).

The training session planned for ACL2025 in Vienna had to be postponed because our announcement to PCC members was trapped in an email posting on the ACL server, which was made defunct without informing us. We had planned to postpone to ACL2026 in San Diego, but lack of a quorum (partly due to the inconvenience of the time as well as visa issues related to travel to the U.S.) has caused us to postpone further to EMNLP 2026.

Caseload

We are currently working on a single case of a serious nature, for which we’ve needed to involve outside counsel.
