Recent Events

IWPT 2021 was held as a one-day online event in the ACL 2021 workshop slots. The number of regular paper submissions was in line with the past several editions of IWPT covering a wide range of parsing-related topics, including theoretical findings, syntactic analysis of low-resource languages, semantic parsing, and parsing applications and evaluation. The program featured 13 regular IWPT papers, 4 paper presentations from Findings of ACL-IJCNLP, and 9 shared task papers, in addition to an invited talk by Emily Pitler. The IWPT shared task series was continued with the IWPT 2021 Shared Task on Parsing into Enhanced Universal Dependencies.

In 2023, SIGPARSE endorsed the GURT 2023 SyntaxFest, which colocated the Conference on Dependency Linguistics (DepLing), the International Workshop on Treebanks and Linguistic Theories (TLT), the Universal Dependencies Workshop (UDW), and the workshop on Construction Grammars and NLP.
