The SIG currently has 180 members and it still operated under the founding officers.
The main activity of the SIG MT is the organization of the 6th Conference on Machine Translation (WMT, formerly a workshop), - http://www.statmt.org/wmt21/ - which includes 13 official shared tasks. The conference takes place in November in association with the EMNLP conference.
