A number of chairs are in place:
General Chair: Hinrich Schuetze (University of Stuttgart).
Local Chair: Svetla Koeva (Bulgarian Academy of Sciences).
Program Co-Chairs: Pascale Fung (Hong Kong University of Science and Technology) and Massimo Poesio (University of Essex).
A contract with the targeted venue was signed - the National Palace of Culture in Sofia - http://www.ndk.bg/?langid=2 A contract between the ACL and the Institute for Bulgarian (Department of Computational Linguistics) at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences - local organizer, was signed, too. Four different designs for the ACL 2013 web site were developed; at the moment the work is concentrated on the one selected by the members of the LOC.
