As of today (May 19, 2010) SIGMOL has 191 members.
The business meeting of SIGMOL was held during the conference MoL 11 on August 20, 2009, at the University of Bielefeld. At the business meeting, the SIGMOL constitution has been discussed and accepted.
The current officers of SIGMOL are Marcus Kracht (University of Bielefeld, president) and András Kornai (Boston University, vice president/president elect).
After consultations and subsequent email votes by the members it was decided that the next conference of SIGMOL, MoL 12, will be held 2011 in Tokyo. A bid to host this event has been issued by Makoto Kanazawa.
