ACL2028 will be held in EMEA (Europe / Middle East / Africa), so the coordinating committee should consist of members from both ACL Exec and EACL Chapter Board. The main tasks of the coordinating committee include issuing call-for-bids, selecting the locations and dates of the conference, selecting the general chair and program (co-)chairs.
The ACL 2028 Coordinating Committee is currently being formed and will be composed as follows:
- From EACL:
- Preslav Nakov, Chair
- Claudia Borg, Treasurer
- Anna Korhonen, exec board member (to be confirmed)
- From ACL:
- David Yarowsky, Treasurer
- Yang Feng, Secretary
- Luke Zettlemoyer, VP-Elect
- Yuki Arase, ACL Executive Committee member and conference officer
- Jenn Rachford, ACL business manager
