ACL2024 will be held in the Asia-Pacific Region.
We have received four draft proposals by the January 21 deadline.
I do not think we need to solicit other proposals at this point.
The next steps are:
- Through March 1, 2022: Feedback to bidders
- March 31, 2022: Final bids due
- May, 2022: Bid selected and site announced during ACL 2022

- has come up with a set of recommendations and a proposal for their implementation
- has agreed on a collaboration with the PC co-chairs of the 2nd Conference of the Asia-Pacific Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics and the 12th International Joint Conference on Natural Language Processing
