EACL Elections
Elections for the EACL Board were held in autumn 2014. The list of nominated candidates was sent to the Chapter in early November. By December 1, no additional nominations had been received. The new EACL Board for the period 2015-2016 is as follows:
- Chair: Lluis Marquez (Qatar Computing Research Institute, Qatar)
- Chair-Elect: Walter Daelemans (University of Antwerp, Belgium)
- Secretary: Caroline Sporleder (Trier University, Germany)
- Treasurer: Mike Rosner (University of Malta, Malta)
- Advisory Board: Iryna Gurevych (Technical University Darmstadt, Germany), Frank Keller (University of Edinburgh, UK), Roberto Navigli (University of Rome, Italy), and Stephan Oepen (University of Oslo, Norway)
The EACL welcomes the new members of the EACL Board and greatly thanks the outgoing members for their years of service to the CL community.
