The current board of SIGHAN officers is:
• Chair -- Nianwen XUE (Brandeis University)
• Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect -- Vincent NG (The University of Texas at Dallas)
• Treasurer -- Junhui LI (Soochow University)
• Secretary/Web Master -- Gina-Anne LEVOW (University of Washington)

Activities and Plans

We held the election for the SIGHAN board at the end of 2022. The slate of officers, was identified by the nominating committee of Prof. Min Zhang, Prof. Chengqing Zong, and Prof. Nianwen Xue. Per the SIGHAN constitution, the slate was announced, and the floor opened for additional nominations. After the designated period, no additional nominations were received. The election closed at the end of December. The slate of candidates was overwhelmingly approved by the membership. The new board took office in January 2023.
