Activities and Plans

We held the ninth SIGHAN Workshop on Chinese Language
Processing in conjunction with IJCNLP 2017 on December 1, 2017.
The workshop featured high quality papers in all aspects of Chinese
language processing. The workshop organizing committee included Yue
Zhang (Singapore University of Technology and Design) and Zhifang Sui
(Peking University).

We will soon be conducting a new election for SIGHAN board, since the
members have come to the end of their term. The current Chair and
Vice-Chair are convening a nominating committee to identify a slate of
candidates.
