The aim of the new role is to take the lead on developing a publicity strategy for the ACL, including a social media strategy and publicizing ACL members' research and accomplishments. <br />

* Twitter: @aclmeeting is the new permanent Twitter account for ACL conferences and announcements by the organization. Reasons: (1) to avoid creating a new account each year which requires to acquire new followers annually; and (2) transferring of the credentials is now centralized.<br />
* Facebook: An ACL facebook page [https://www.facebook.com/aclmeeting] is created with each ACL conference being added annually as an event.<br />
* LinkedIn: We created a LinkedIn group (https://www.linkedin.com/groups/10484931/) as a moderated group to allow for the members to post news or job advertisements related to the NLP community.<br />
