Created page with "* Election platform up and running very smoothly. Used by me for ACL 2019, SIGDAT, and SIGLEX elections and by NAACL exec based on our recommendation for NAACL 2019 elections..."

New page

* Election platform up and running very smoothly. Used by me for ACL 2019, SIGDAT, and SIGLEX elections and by NAACL exec based on our recommendation for NAACL 2019 elections (via a separate account). Setting up an election now takes only 15 minutes and it runs quite seamlessly producing reliable results.
* Web infrastructure volunteer committee created in late 2019. Work has started in earnest to replace aclweb.org and the wikis with a modernized version (including a blog). Committee also making good progress on setting up a modern ACL Fellows nomination portal. it should be ready for this year's ACL fellows selection process. Currently being tested.
* Almost all ACL, SIG, and conference domains consolidated into BlueHost. This makes it much easier to keep track of them, renew them, and to create conference sub-domains rather than buying a new one for each conference (see next item).
* Official conference domain policy proposed and accepted; already implemented via 2020.emnlp.org. It has also been backported to 2018.emnlp.org since emnlp2018.org expired. It will also be used for the next EACL and AACL.
* Assisted with the TACL migration to new provider.
* Office365 account up and running and used by PCC, by Jennifer for GDPR project, by Rada for Equity Director microsoft form, and by ACL 2020 PCs for all their forms.
* ACL 2020 Slack channels on Main ACL workspace is working quite well.
* Had Pranav upload the code for the aclweb portal on GitHub & set up a process for making changes via pull requests that are reviewed by me.
* Work with Jennifer to answer GDPR-related questions about IT infrastructure.
* Work with the Anthology Director and volunteers on the logistics for getting older IWPT proceedings sent to a scanning company. And to migrate the official ACL Vimeo account to our credit card so we can control it.
* Support coi-detection and reviewer-paper-matching projects on GitHub.
* Guiding the ACL 2020 website & app chairs as needed.
