EMNLP 2017 will take place in Copenhagen in early to mid September. The local organizers have identified 3 possible venues in the city, and submitted estimated costs that have been reviewed by Chris Callison-Burch, Graeme Hirst and Priscilla Rasmussen. Priscilla is scheduling a site visit to Copenhagen following ACL 2016 in Berlin.

The SIGDAT advisory board nominated and ranked candidates for the General Chair and Program Co-Chairs, and the SIGDAT officers are currently approaching the top-ranked candidates to see if they would be willing to serve.
