The Nominating Committee will have to think of candidates for these three positions.

	* The EACL ~~Conference Handbook~~ is ~~now publicly available from~~ the EACL ~~website~~.		* EACL has to elect a new student board member, as Mariona Coll Ardanuy has reached the end of her term. She is currently one of the Student Chairs for the EACL 2017 SRW.

			* The EACL Board is analyzing the status of the EACL conference and discussing measures to better promote and to increase its visibility. The current 3-year cycle of the conference is perceived as a problem in this direction.

			* Main deadlines have been agreed for the main conference and satellite events together with the publication chairs.
			* Calls have been out for the main conference and all satellite events except for workshops
