Pushpak will see about Laura sending a good bid from Argentina (disussions going on).<br /> <br /> 2. The successful ACL Sweden bid has been sent to Laura who is working on the Buenos Aires Bid.<br /> <br /> 3. The Calgary bid has virtually been shelved due to LOC&#039;s difference in perception of how various commmittees for an ACL conference are formed from the way ACL conference committees are actually formed.<br /> <br /> 4. If the Argentina bid does not work out, Priscilla will work on hosting ACL 2017 in Chicago or Toronto.<br /> <br /> 5. In case of Argentina bid shaping up well, a site visit to Buenos Aires will be warranted.<br /> <br /> 6. The feasible time for announcing ACL 2017 now seems to be EMNLP 2015 in August.</div>
