			The ESSLLI organising committee have nominated three students to be
			sponsored to attend ESSLLI 2013 (two students from Africa and one from
			Russia). No objections were raised from the EACL Board, and so these
			three students will be sponsored in line with EACL policy.

			Two new members have been elected to the student board: Desmond
			Elliott (University of Edinburgh School of Informatics) and Douwe Kiela (University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory). Desmond and Douwe
			will start their terms on July 1 2013, and will replace Konstantina
			Garoufi and Coskun Mermer.
