- The handbook is also in the process of being moved from Google Drive to the ACL HackMD. &lt;br /&gt;
- A page is created at ACL wiki (https://www.aclweb.org/portal/content/acl-publicity-information), which has a quick guide to the publicity channels. Since this page, there seems to be much more awareness about these accounts as well as an increase in requests for posts through &amp;quot;ACL announcements&amp;quot;, and reducing confused emails to other ACL officers to find out who takes care of the ACL socialism media accounts. Note that Information on the ACL&#039;s publicity accounts was also shared in a tutorial in ACL 2024 (Presentation matters) with over 550 attendees.&lt;br /&gt;

We have seen a hike in LinkedIn ACL Group users in the recent past as well. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Twitter seems to be the most followed social media platform with the most engagement. There are 18.7K followers in just @aclmeeting Twitter account.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3. Upon request from the ACL exec/ACL officers, requested posts are placed on different platforms (not related to a particular conference and workshop). &lt;br /&gt;

4. Information on the ACL&#039;s publicity accounts will be shared in a tutorial in ACL 2024 (Presentation matters).&lt;br /&gt;

Examples are nominations for Test of Time awards or ACL Lifetime Achievement Award. This has been shown useful when the email communications were either not sufficient or too slow. ACL mailing list has around 4.5K recipients, as opposed to for example X/Twitter account (aclmeeting) with close to 18K followers.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
4. A proposal for Tutorial is accepted for ACL 2024 where there might be channel to also echo some information on ACL publicity and how people could consume the information/post on social media.&lt;br /&gt;

These will need to be more broadly communicated as the community still can be unsure as what is available to them when they take on their conference roles. &lt;br /&gt;
