Demo Chair Report (Kübler, Sandra)

The ACL 2010 system demo PC accepted 14 demo papers out of 65 submissions, which is an acceptance rate of 21%. The accepted papers were from geographically diverse areas: 8 from Europe, 5 from America, and 1 from Asia, and the submission distribution was 47 from Europe, 10 from America, 6 from Asia, and 2 from Australia. I used START this time. As a consequence of the unexpectedly high number of submissions, I had to recruit additional PC members. But now, everything is ready, and I'm looking forward to an interesting system demo session. I thank the 27 system demo PC members and 6 additional reviewers for their diligence and hard works.
