An AFNLP combined Executive and Board Meeting was held in October 17 2013 during the 6th IJCNLP conference in Nagoya, Japan.

(1) Asian conferences:

[[Asia Information Retrieval Socities Symposium (AIRS):]]
AIRS2013 was held in Singapore, December 9-11, 2013. See http://www.colips.org/conference/airs2013/
And AIRS2014 will be help in Sarawak, Malaysia, Deecember 3-5 2014. See http://airs2014.pecamp.org/

[[International Conference on Computer Processing of Oriental Languages (ICCPOL)]]
ICCPOL conference is dormant. Last one was held in US with very low turnout rate.
The journal associated with ICCPOL is switched to a book series (published by World Scientific)

[[The Pacific Asia Conference on Language, Information and Computation (PACLIC):]]
28th PACLIC will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, 12-14 December 2014. See http://ling.arts.chula.ac.th/paclic28/index.html

It was also reported that an [[Indian National IR Conference]] would be held in December 2013.

(2) It was suggested that few small conferences can be collocated with ACL/IJCNLP2015, Beijing. KF is repsonsible.

(3) It was proposed that AFNLP should provide a name list of Asian researchers to ACL for them to consider as ACL-AFNLP'2015 chairs in different committees. Yuji-san is responsible.
