&lt;div&gt;Isabelle Augenstein is a Professor at the University of Copenhagen, Department of Computer Science, where she heads the Copenhagen Natural Language Understanding research group as well as the Natural Language Processing section. Her main research interests are fair and accountable NLP, including challenges such as explainability, factuality and bias detection. Prior to starting a faculty position, she was a postdoctoral researcher at University College London, and before that a PhD student at the University of Sheffield. In October 2022, Isabelle Augenstein became Denmark’s youngest ever female full professor. She currently holds a prestigious ERC Starting Grant on &#039;Explainable and Robust Automatic Fact Checking&#039;, as well as the Danish equivalent of that, a DFF Sapere Aude Research Leader fellowship on &#039;Learning to Explain Attitudes on Social Media’. She is a member of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters, and President of SIGDAT, which organises the EMNLP conference series.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>

SIGREP is the ACL Special Interest Group on Representation Learning. It seeks to promote research on representation learning in Natural Language Processing, specifically methods for inferring representations from data, as well as studying evaluation and transferability of representations, and organises the annual ACL workshop on Representation Learning for NLP (Repl4NLP).&lt;br /&gt;

SIGREP is the ACL Special Interest Group on Representation Learning. It seeks to promote research on representation learning in Natural Language Processing, specifically methods for inferring representations from data, as well as studying evaluation and transferability of representations, and organises the annual ACL workshop on Representation Learning for NLP (Repl4NLP).&lt;br /&gt;

Currently, SIGREP has 393 members.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

SIGREP currently has the following officers:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
*President: Isabelle Augenstein&lt;br /&gt;
*Secretary: Karl Moritz Hermann&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In addition, there is a Senior Organising Committee (SOC), which is responsible for recruiting and selecting organising committee members for SIG events such as RepL4NLP, and advising them during the organisation of the event.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
The 4th Workshop on Representation Learning for NLP (RepL4NLP) will be hosted by ACL 2019 and held on 2 August 2019. The workshop is being organised by:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

*Spandana Gella&lt;br /&gt;
*Sebastian Ruder&lt;br /&gt;
*Katharina Kann&lt;br /&gt;
*Burcu Can&lt;br /&gt;
*Alexis Conneau&lt;br /&gt;
*Johannes Welbl&lt;br /&gt;
*Xian Ren&lt;br /&gt;
*Marek Rei&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
and advised by the SOC. It receives generous sponsorship from Facebook AI Research, Amazon, and Naver Labs Europe.&lt;br /&gt;

At the time of writing, 370 attendees have signed up for the workshop, which is up from around 250 for the previous years.&lt;br /&gt;
