There is not much to report for this year; the archive was updated in 2008 with the annual report documents.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
With the popularization of the ACL Wiki and ACL Adminwiki, it is no longer clear what the role of the archivist is or whether the position is needed; perhaps the ACL Exec should consider redefining or eliminating the position.  I would recommend that the material currently in the archive be moved to the appropriate wiki sites and then the archive be disbanded.  &lt;br /&gt;
