In 2025 the Eighteenth Linguistic Annotation Workshop (LAW-XIX) will be held in person and in hybrid virtual format in conjunction with ACL 2025 in Vienna, Austria in August, by PC chairs Ines Rehbein and Siyao Peng. The workshop received 61 submissions, as detailed on the workshop website:

The special theme for the workshop is "subjectivity and variation in linguistic annotations", with invited talks by Jessy Li (UT Austin) and Rotem Dror (University of Haifa).

== SIGANN GUIDO - A Repository of Annotation Guidelines ==

In an initiative led by Annemarie Friedrich in collaboration with Ines Rehbein, Nathan Schneider and Amir Zeldes, a pilot repository to index different annotation guidelines has been started at https://sigann.github.io/guido/. We are hoping to gather community support to expand this resource and make annotation guidelines more easily accessible and findable online.
