Research Assistant Professor at Communication Science Laboratory, Graduate School of Information Sciences, Tohoku University, Japan. I studied cellular automaton and algebraic geometry when I was a math student at the University of Tokyo, and got my PhD (Mathematical Sciences). Then I turned my research direction to natural language processing. Currently my main focus is on technologies to analyse natural language semantics, including textual entailment, knowledge acquisition, and semantic parsing.
