<p><b>New page</b></p><div>Aleksandr's research currently focuses around digital assistants,<br />
in particular their eyes-free form, such as Google Home or Amazon Echo.<br />
Dialogue plays major role in such systems. In particular, Aleksandr aims at rethinking<br />
information retrieval and exploration for this new surface and finding new ways of evaluating<br />
user experience.<br />

He has experience in modeling and evaluating user experience of traditional search<br />
and aims to transfer this expertise over to the world of eyes-free assistants.<br />
Aleksandr received his PhD from the University of Amsterdam and has a number of publications<br />
and tutorials at WWW, SIGIR, CIKM, WSDM, ECIR and served as a PC member of CIKM, WSDM, WWW<br />
