He specializes in formal and lexical semantics along with computational approaches to meaning.  Much of his recent work has focused on understanding topics in grammatical number, such as the count/mass distinction and plurality.  He has also been engaged in the description of the Dagaare language (Gur, spoken in Ghana), completing a Dagaare-English dictionary together with Mark Ali of University of Education, Winneba, Ghana.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
