Creating user page for new user.

New page

I’m a computational linguist and a PhD candidate at the University of Groningen (Netherlands), under the supervision of Prof. Johan Bos.

I’m working in the area of Computational Semantics, in the Groningen Meaning Bank project, where we build a large corpus of English texts with formally grounded meaning annotation. My research is concerned with machine-learning methods to derive such logic-based meaning representations automatically, most recently in the area of cross-lingual semantic parsing.

Before coming to Groningen in 2011, I did a B.A. and an M.A. in the International Studies in Computational Linguistics program in Tübingen (Germany). In between, I spent a semester at the UFR de Linguistique in Paris (France). I grew up in Düsseldorf (Germany).
