Grafsgaard (University of Notre Dame) received the BA degree in computer science from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in 2005, and the MS and PhD degrees in computer science from North Carolina State University in 2012 and 2014, respectively. He is currently a postdoctoral research associate. His research interests include affective computing, intelligent tutoring systems, nonverbal behavior, physiology, and multimodal affective interaction. He is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Affective Computing (AAAC), the ACM, the IAIED Society, the IEDM Society, and the IEEE.</div>Pdturney
