ACL Fellows Nominations Form

The Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL) reserves the title of ACL Fellow for the most highly accomplished members of the association. The list of current ACL Fellows is available online.
If you would like to nominate a candidate for Fellow, please fill out this form. To be eligible, a candidate must have been a member of the ACL for the past three (3) consecutive years and be nominated by a current ACL member. If you are unsure about a candidate's eligibility, please send a query to acl@aclweb.org.
A nominator must provide a comprehensive case for the candidate and solicit two (2) additional recommendations. Important:The nominator should direct the recommenders to fill out recommendation forms. ACL will not contact individual recommenders or solicit letters. All forms submitted by October 1 of a given year will be considered. Submitted forms will be kept confidential.
Highest degree held by candidate, institution, and year
Post-degree positions held by the candidate, with dates
Candidate's most significant research contributions (5-10 publications, linguistic resources, software artifacts, patents, or other contributions)
Candidate's service activities
Proposed Fellow citation, to appear on the Fellows Certificate -- 20 words or fewer, chosen with care, that reflect the specific documented contributions; e.g. “For significant contributions to unification-based parsing, finite-state morphology, and example-based machine translation.”
