(Apologies for cross-posting.)

The Fifth Workshop on Computational Linguistics for Literature convenes in San Diego, California, on June 16. Come to hear two exciting invited talks. Patrick Winston (MIT) will speak about the role of stories in human intelligence, and about the Genesis story-understanding system. Loss Pequeño Glazier (SUNY Buffalo) will tell us about array poetics: how to use computer-generated groupings of natural language strings to explore new resonances of poetic space.

There will also be seven regular presentations on a variety of intriguing topics. The workshop Web site at

https://sites.google.com/site/clfl2016/

will tell you much more about CLfL 2016: a detailed schedule, the draft proceedings, a page on the invited speakers, and so on.

See you at the San Diego Sheraton.
