• 18 June:

  Time to start looking ahead to next year. Flyers for COLING/ACL 2006 are available, which is beind held in Sydney, Australia. The website for HLT-NAACL 2006, being held in New York City is also up.
  
  More information about bus service to and from off site conference hotels is now available on the Accommodations page.

• 13 June:

  The ACL Conference Booklet is available. It is a primer for Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan as well as containing basic information about the conference that may be handy (restaurants, hotels, maps, schedules).

• 8 June:

  Be sure to check out Ann Arbor Area Convention and Visitor's Bureau site. This site and more can be found on the Links page, providing links to sites that list and review the many restaurants, clubs and other attractions in and around Ann Arbor.

• 6 June:

  The official deadline for reserving hotels and residence hall rooms passed two weeks ago but we are still getting tremendous interest in housing. The following hotels are full: Mosher Jordan Residence Hall, The Bell Tower, the Inn at the League, and the Bed and Breakfast. We have been able to get additional residence hall rooms at the Betsy Barbour Residence Hall. In addition, a small number of rooms are available at the Campus Inn hotel and at the Fairfield Inn and Courtyard hotels.

• 5 June:

  The UM Museum of Art has a new exhibit, "Pop", that will be open during the conference.

• 1 June:

  The Ann Arbor Summer Festival Schedule (pdf) is available, with a listing of shows and events that may be of interest to attendees
  
  Conference hotels are running out of space, so book now for the best rates.

• 31 May:

  An overview of Justine Cassell's invited talk is now available.

• 24 May:

  Transportation information has been expanded to include shuttle services to and from the Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
  
  An overview of Michael Jordan's invited talk is now available.

  The Conference Schedule is now up. This includes workshop and tutorial schedules.
