Computational linguist, with particular interests in CL for low-resource languages, computational semantics, and computational discourse. I did my PhD in Linguistics at UT Austin, supervised by Jason Baldridge and Katrin Erk. Following that, I worked in Germany for a number of years, with positions at Saarland University, University of Stuttgart, and University of Heidelberg. Since August 2016, I have been an assistant professor in the Department of Linguistics at the University of North Texas. I'm currently serving as ACL 2019 Tutorials co-chair.
