(2) The following members have been elected to assume duty in AFNLP Executive Committee (2013-2014) in January 1, 2013. 0) Yuji Matsumoto, President (NB: elected last term) 1) Kam-Fai Wong, Vice President 2) Francis Bond, Secretary 3) Virach Sornlertlamvanich, Honorary Treasurer 4) Pushpak Bhattacharyya, Chair of ALR 5) Seong-Bae Park , Chair of CLC

(3) Guidelines for Maintaining Asia Active NLP Researchers Database has been online.

(4) The following members have been elected as MAL to assume duty in AFNLP Executive Committee from 1 January 2013. 1) Timothy Baldwin, 2) Satoshi Sekine, and 3) Min Zhang.

(4) Special Interest Group on Transcription and Transliteration (SIG-T&T) has been set up in September 2012. This is the first AFNLP SIG.
